Memorializing the Presidents...
Located in South Dakota, Mount Rushmore was constructed to memorialize four important presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Each year hundreds of people go to the foothills to see these larger than life busts of the presidents.
For your mission, you are to tell us the importance of this memorial: who made it, why these presidents, how long did it take, and why did they pick South Dakota for this monument. These are just a few ideas that you can include, try to come up with other ideas that you would want to know as a visitor to this monument.
