Our Nation's Capital
As we all know, Washington DC is the capital of the United States of America, located on the Potomac River between Maryland and Virginia. With many memorials that pay respect to our former presidents, Washington DC also contains many museums. History from all around the world is located within this city making it what many believe to be the most cultured city in our country.
Your mission will be to create a day trip around Washington DC. You must include:
1. At least two memorials that you will visit, what they represent, and when they were built and by who.
2. No more than three museums that you would like to visit. With each museum include:
a. Why it is so important
b. What are three "must-see" things at the museum
c. Cost? If any.
d. Why do you think we need this in the United States. And "So we learn about other things." is not a correct sufficient answer.
